Sanika Tyson

Ms. Sanika Tyson began her bright academic career as an Open National Scholarship winner who studied law at the University College London in England. Upon successfully completing the Bar Professional Training Course, she was Called to the Bar of England Wales at the Honourable Society of Grays Inn.

Her professional work life started at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) as a Prosecutor, as she fulfilled her scholarship obligations to the State. It continued at the Firm of Lex Caribbean as an Associate Attorney II in the Commercial Litigation, Restructuring & Insolvency Department and then onto the Ministry of Labour where she came up through the ranks from Legal Officer II to now Senior Legal Officer. With over 10 years professional experience as a Barrister/Attorney-at-Law, Sanika follows a tradition of lawyers within her family.
