The Ministry of Labour (MOL) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with TTT Limited for the On-The-Job Training Division (OJTD) to facilitate its “House of Media Graduate Programme.” This signing ceremony took place at TTT Limited, 11A Maraval Road, St Clair, Port of Spain on Wednesday, August 09, 2023.

The signing of this Memorandum of Agreement allows for TTT Limited to collaborate with the OJT Division to create a learning experience that would provide practical work-based training for graduates between the ages 16-35 who are in the field of Journalism, Film and Video Production, Sound Engineering and Mass Communication.  The Agreement provides a structured framework for collaboration, sets expectations and lays the groundwork for a successful partnership which will provide new opportunities for young and vibrant graduates.

Permanent Secretary (Ag.) of the Ministry of Labour, Ms. Natalie Willis said that the Ministry is embracing MOAs as the new standard for managing the relationship between Training Providers and the OJT Division. She stated “this Programme is a strategic initiative that aims to attract and develop young talent, shaping them into future leaders who can contribute significantly to the organization's growth and success. It benefits both the graduates, who receive valuable professional development, and the organization, which gains access to fresh perspectives and skilled professionals.”

To date, the Ministry has signed MOAs with other leading organizations like the National Energy Corporation, National Gas Company of Trinidad Tobago (NGC), MIC Institute of Technology with several other organizations in the pipeline.
